For parents and grandparents

Got a game link? Open it.

The coach sends one link for the game. It opens in any browser on any phone or computer: no app, no account, and nobody asks who you are to watch. No link yet? Ask your coach for it.

A hockey game link: Ducks 4, Storm 3 with 6:30 left in the 2nd period, shots 22 to 13, Greg in goal, then every goal with its scorer, assists, period and time, and the Ducks lines.
Hockey: goals both ways, shots, who's in goal, the lines. Sample team.
A soccer game link: U11 1, Lions 0, about eleven minutes left in the 1st half, Zoe in goal, the goal by Ruby with an assist from Leo, and the 3-3-2 on the field.
Soccer: score, clock, goals, the lineup on the field. Sample team.

What the link does, and doesn't.

  • What it showsThe score, the clock and each goal as it happens. Goals and who's in goal go by first name, or by jersey number if the coach switches first names off. In soccer you also see the lineup on the field, in hockey the shots and the lines (both with each player's number beside the name), and in cross country that race's runners and their times.
  • If the coach asks you to helpA second link from the coach lets one parent tap in one thing: keeper saves, shots, or corners and free kicks in soccer; the shots or the penalties in hockey; a checkpoint in cross country. In hockey and soccer it asks your name once, and the coaches see that name beside your taps in their scorebook.
  • Link ended or won't open? Each link is for one game and stops after a day, or when the coach stops it: the page then shows the final score, or says “The coach stopped this link” or “The coach removed this game.” “This link doesn't work” usually means a chat cut the link short. Either way, ask the coach for today's link.
  • What other parents seeThe same page you do. Nobody sees minutes played, season stats or rankings from a link: those stay with the coaches.

Your family's privacy, in three lines.

  • About youNo account, no cookies, no ads. If you help log stats, the coaches see the name you type.
  • About your childA first name, and in the lineup or lines a jersey number beside it (only the number, if the coach switches first names off). Anyone who has the link sees it, so share it with family and not further.
  • To change or remove a nameAsk the coach, who can edit or remove a player in the app. What we store, and who can read it: the privacy page.
