Common questions

What does it cost?
Free until launch; then one low price per team, with every coach, parent and grandparent included. No per-user fees, no ads. Nobody's data is sold.
Do I need an account?
To start a team, yes: your email and a code we send to it, no password. An assistant can join from your invite link without an account for two weeks, then signs in the same way. Parents never need one.
Does it work with no signal?
Yes. Everything is saved on the phone first and sent when a bar comes back. Two coaches on separate phones keep working and their entries merge. The parents' link needs signal on their end to update.
How do other coaches join my team?
Open the team's menu and choose Invite a coach. Send the link, or let them scan the code on your screen. They then see and log the same games from their own phones; two people tapping the same game at once is normal, nothing gets overwritten.
How do parents follow a game?
Open the game's or race's menu and choose Invite. A follow link shows the live score in any browser, with no app or account. In hockey and soccer you can also send a stats link so one parent can log shots or saves; in cross country, a meet link for a checkpoint. What the family sees: Follow a game.
Is there an app in the App Store?
Not yet. The iPhone apps for hockey and soccer are in testing; the cross country one is in development. Meanwhile the web apps work in Safari or Chrome on any phone. Use Add to Home Screen to open one like an app, or ask for early access.
I got a new phone. How do I get my teams back?
Sign in with the same email on the new phone. Another device that has the team (yours, or another coach's) hands it over the next time it's online. If no device has the team any more, it can't be recovered: it's encrypted with a key we never see.
The sign-in code didn't arrive.
Check your junk or spam folder. Codes come from a sign-in@ address at the app's own domain.
How do I delete my account?
In the app's menu, choose Account, then Delete account. The app shows what happens to each of your teams before anything is deleted. See the privacy page for details.
How do I remove my child's information?
Ask your child's coach, who can edit or remove players. Or write to support@clubclock.com and we'll help the coach do it.
Can other parents see my child's playing time or stats?
No. The game link shows the score, the clock and the goals, and in soccer the lineup. Minutes and season stats stay with the coaches.

What Send feedback sends.

It tells us which screen you were on, so we can find the problem quickly. In hockey and soccer the note is encrypted with your team's key; in cross country it's encrypted so only we can read it.
